On the south west end of the Zagreb, on the border of Zagreb Prigorje, Pokuplje and Turopolje lies the old towns of Stupnička and Brezovička fare (district). Its inhabitants are called Poljari. National heritage in this part of the Zagreb area, as daily and religious is not just a mere memory; it still lives today in the people and between people, like living kaykavian word and speech; as woven rubača, opleće (scarf, shirt) and fertun (apron) preserved and somewhat forgotten in an old grandmothers oak chest.
The heritage of the past is reflected in our time as a beautiful traditional song or dance. Oj Savice tija vodo 'ladna – Devojka, devojka – Joj, joj, vienec moj – Polka i Picekof drmeš choice is of the former folk songs and dances which are today remember - singing and dancing.
