A song accompanying Dalmatian folk dance from the Adriatic south coast in the environs of Dubrovnik. The dance is accomplished by a "lijerica" player - "lijerica" being a stringed instrument still preserved in the region.

   The strong influence of the Mediterranean culture on the dance is very obvious. "Lindjo" is rich in figures, and the leading dancer calls out for the changeof the movement pattern.
