Dancers perform in the festive costumes, on how the Split national costume lookedlike
in the second half of the 19. century. Man's costume was of the Dinara type and woman's costume was of the adriatic type.
Consist parts of man's costume:
- white linen shirt,
- "ječerma" - waistcoat,
- "žurka" - longsleeved jacket,
- "gaće" - truosers,
- silk levantine belt,
- red cap with flat top on the had,
- "gete" - high shoes.
Main parts of woman's costume:
- long linen shirt,
- above whitch women wear buttoned waistcoat - "korpet",
- "brnica" - skirt with donse uniform pleats,
- "kurtin" - short sleeved jacket,
- "traversa" - apron,
- "fjok" - tying up piece of garment,
- "berta" - scarf,
- "gete"- black shoes and
- jewelry.

The influences of the West Europe and the Mediterranen are transparently seen on the female
costume designs as well as in the dancing motions. The outstanding
features of the dancing style are the elegancy and softness of motions,
as wel as the fine moderate flickers.
