Kvadrilja came to Dalmatia gradually, under the influence of french dancing culture. It was performed at the parties in Split where the new dance transfered to other guests and that way it fulfilled the dance programme.    The dance consists from more parts. Names of this parts are: "A la francez", "Kadril", "Po splisku" and "A la parizijen".
